MacTCP

Map
Map is one of those neat but only slightly useful hacks Apple programmers created years ago. You can enter a major city in the find window, click the find button, then learn the longitude, latitude, deviation from Greenwich Mean Time, distance from Detroit (or whatever city you chose in the Date & Time control panel), and current local time. Works on all Mac OS-based computers that use System 7.5 and MacOS 8.x.

MegaDial
While the MegaDial dialing Windows only appears when your communications software is about to dial a number, you can explicitly open megaDial's control panel to look at or change its settings. Many of the control in both screens are similar: for example, you can use the control panel if you want to confgure your dialing sequence before you arrive at a new location (rather than when you are in the process of dialing). However, the control panel has some functionality not available in the dialing windows. The control panel can present its normal interface, and an "expanded" interface with more options. The control panel remembers its last state, so the type of control panel you'll see depends on how it looked last time it was closed. Click the small triangle next to "More" to expand the control panel.

Memory
Controls the cache size, virtual memory and RAM disk. A larger cache size can enhances performance. Virtual memory lets you use part of your hard drive to supplement the built-in RAM memory, but can under certain conditions significantly slow your computer. If you have RAM Doubler installed, be sure to disable virtual memory. If you have Speed Access or Speed Doubler installed, it will set larger values to further improve performance. Works on all Mac OS-based computers that use System 7.5 and above. Features available depend on your individual computer.

Menuette
